These are my favorite glasses of all times!
They look very stylish no matter what kind of beverage you pour in.
Double wall thermal glasses are light and considering the thickness of the glass (borosilicate glass looks thin and fragile) - quite durable.
Dishwasher safe, always shiny and attractive but a bit tricky to wash them by hand. For handwashing I lay them on the side on a dry cloth so they can't slip out of my hand.
Bodum double-walled glasses keep hot beverages hot (without burning your fingers) and cold drinks cold, no dripping condensation.
If you're ready to step up a level in quality of your beverage-consummation, these are for you. If you don't mind leaching plastic, stay with plastic.
BTW, borosilicate glass that bodum glasses are made of is highly resistant to extreme temperature changes as well as acids and is therefore used in labs. Every glass is man-made, mouth-blown. If that's not something to appreciate...

I purchased the whole range of sizes of the glasses, plus a pitcher and teapot. After one and a half years, most are broken despite careful handling. The smaller sizes, 2oz and 9 oz have stood up better, but almost all of the larger sizes, the pitcher and the teapot are gone. Some broke in the dishwasher without any impact whatsoever, a couple broke from dropping an ice cube in, some from an accidental tap against a plate or another glass.
It's a beautiful product and works well at insulating, but they need to switch to a tougher glass formulation. I'm am never buying more, it's a waste of money.
